Frangollo is a traditional dessert originating from the Canary Islands. Although there are numerous variations and recipes, it typically consists of millet flour, milk, eggs, sugar, butter, lemon zest, raisins, almonds, and cinnamon. Because it contains only a small amount of sugar, frangollo is usually served with honey or palm honey. Despite being simple, due to millet flour being a key ingredient, this dessert is quite filling, so it can sometimes even be served for breakfast.
