Cheese Frenchee

Cheese frenchee is an American dish originating from Nebraska. It consists of a battered and deep-fried cheese sandwich. The cheese sandwiches are first dipped in a combination of eggs and milk, and they are then rolled in cornflake crumbs before being deep-fried until golden brown. It is believed that cheese frenchee was invented in a drive-in restaurant chain called King's Food Host in the 1960s.
