Dagwood Sandwich

The Dagwood is a cartoonishly gigantic, tall, multi-layered sandwich with varying ingredients. The sandwich was named after Dagwood Bumstead, a character in the comic strip Blondie. Usually, Dagwood consists of layered, vertically stacked varieties of sliced cheese, cold cuts, vegetables, and condiments between slices of bread. Although the final result is huge and almost impossible to eat, Dagwood is surely a sight to behold.
