This was downright bad; the cake was excessively soggy, and the coffee flavor was almost nonexistent. However, this might be specific to this branch; the one we had elsewhere later was better. Still, we've had better ones in Türkiye.
I ordered a classic tiramisu. This was the closest I'd come to the best tiramisu in Türkiye. The coffee wasn't too strong, and the cake was perfectly moistened. Overall, it was nice, but not amazing.
The flavor and texture were good. It was even more delicious without the chocolate chips on top. It was a step up from the other tiramisu I've had in Italy.
The consistency was good, but the cream was too sweet. After a few spoonfuls, I couldn't eat it because of the intense sugary taste. I had higher expectations for such a popular tiramisu.
Savoiardi biscuits dipped in strong coffee, alternated with a cream of mascarpone, egg yolks and sugar, chilled for several hours and finished with a dusting of cocoa: tiramisù is assembled, never baked, and it comes from north-eastern Italy. The name means pick me up, a nod to the coffee and sugar.
