Bereket Baklava

Türkiye

Midye Baklava is a Turkish dessert that belongs to the baklava family, distinguished by its mussel-like (midye) shape. It is made by layering thin sheets of phyllo dough, stuffing them with finely ground pistachios or walnuts, and baking them until golden brown. The final step involves soaking the pastry in a sweet syrup made of sugar, water, and lemon juice. Midye Baklava is particularly popular in Gaziantep, a city renowned for its baklava craftsmanship, and is enjoyed during festive occasions and special gatherings.

Midye Baklava

Hadise is a modern variation of traditional baklava, featuring soft phyllo dough layered with delightful mascarpone cream and finely ground pistachios. This dessert offers a unique twist on the classic baklava by incorporating mascarpone, resulting in a creamy and rich flavor profile. The combination of the flaky pastry, creamy filling, and crunchy pistachios provides a harmonious blend of textures and tastes.

Fıstıkları, kaymağı, ince hamuruyla gayet yerinde bir lezzet 👍 favori tatlım, bereket baklava da fena yapmıyor. Önerilir.

A different style than classic baklava. This one was really fresh. Full of pistachios the pistachio quality was really nice.

I will definitely go there and taste it again. Don’t forget to order Turkish tea next to this beatiful dessert.
