Etli ekmek is a delicious Turkish pizza-like dish originating from the city of Konya. The name of the dish means bread with meat. It consists of a thin, crispy flatbread made with flour, sugar, salt, yeast, and oil, which is then topped with ground beef and finely chopped onions, tomatoes, and peppers. For me, it was a meat-filled bread where I couldn't taste the meat because of the density of the fat, and the bread became soggy if not eaten quickly. It seemed crispy at first, but it melted away with the fat over time. It was the first time I couldn't finish a portion and left some behind. My advice to the chef: reduce the amount of fat.

The bread was a bit thicker than I expected. It is very important to have crunchy taste and this one was lacking. Meat was fine and fat was a bit too much. Still a decent a food to try but there are better versions I tasted.
