Pašticada is a traditional Dalmatian (Croatian) pot roast that is often considered the pinnacle of Croatian cuisine. It involves slowly simmering beef usually round steak, which has been marinated for days in vinegar and spices. The meat is then braised for hours in a rich sauce made from root vegetables, onions, wine, prosecco, or sweet dessert wine, and dried fruits like prunes or figs. The result is a deeply flavorful, sweet and sour sauce that is thick and dark. Typically served with homemade gnocchi, Pašticada is a dish reserved for weddings, holidays, and special occasions due to its lengthy preparation time.

Well cooked beef cheeks, gnocchi at the bottom was well thought and delicious as well. It was recommended by the staff at the restaurant definitely a must try!

Although there are numerous theories about the origin of the dish, most people agree that credit should be given to Delmonico's Restaurant. One of the benefits eating somewhere with real chefs is this. Even a simple eggs benedict is completely different.

Perfectly cooked eggs, really nice idea of having bread to hold the eggs in a bowl.

Numerous chefs claimed the invention of the dish, the most famous of them being &Eacute;mile Lerch, the owner of Restaurant Albert on the Champs-&Eacute;lys&eacute;es, who stated that he first made the dish in 1930. Regardless of the inventor, steak au poivre remains a staple of typical French cuisine.

Tasty steak! But the bbq sauce next to is a shame. It is a basic bbq sauce you get from McDonalds with fries. The plate could have something else to complete the look and taste. The butter was ok. I ordered some grilled vegetables and they were good!

Unlike its cousin vi&scaron;ka pogača, this one is made with the addition of tomato sauce, making it more flavorful and juicier than vi&scaron;ka pogača, which is cut into triangles, while komi&scaron;ka pogača is cut into squares. The dough for the pie is made with flour, water, salt, oil, and yeast, while the filling contains onions, tomatoes, anchovies, and seasonings. After it has been baked and before serving, it is recommended to brush the pie with olive oil, if desired.

They serve it hot so you could have the all taste 👌

Hot Cold Salad

First time trying this and i loved it.

A warm salad is something new to me. I really like it. Shrimps cooked well and seasoned really nice. Fresh veggies and tasteful tomatoes made this mix perfect.

Also as an extra sauce there was pomegranate sauce.
